Este rapaz estava dormindo no metrô. Eu tive que terminar o desenho no curso que estou fazendo.
Nada como uma aula bem aproveitada.

Esta aquarela foi feita para uma seção muito útil que eu não conhecia da revista Viagem & Turismo da editora Abril. Conta a história de uma pessoa que na Argentina, recebeu notas falsas no banco.

This little watercolor was made for a brazilian magazine about trips and vacation called Viagem & Turismo. The article tells the story about a lady who exchanged her money in Argentina and got counterfeit bills in a major bank there.

Esta foi uma experiência rápida.
Tem dias que agente simplesmente precisa desenhar alguma coisa. Qualquer coisa, e só se dá por satisfeito quando sai algo digno de ser chamado de rascunho no mínimo.
Resolvi desenhar o Blue, nosso cachorro e companheiro.
O ArtRage é um programa bacana mesmo!

This was a quick experience.
Some days we just have to draw something. Anything! And we only rest when we reach something we can call at least a "nice rough".
I decided to draw Blue, our dog and buddy.
ArtRage is really an awesome software.

"Gasto", "usado", cansado talvez. Esta ilustração já havia feito para meu livro "Quando eu crescer" lançado em janeiro de 2009. Quando vi o tema desta semana me lembrei deste velho que viu uma vida passar.

This piece I made a few months ago for a book of mine called "When I grow up", released here in Brazil in january. When I read this week's theme I remembered this old man who whatched a lifetime pass by him.

IF: Drifting

Este é um desses temas vastos. "Drift" quer dizer deslizar, escorregar, derrapar. Tem tantas aplicações quanto tem usos e contextos.
Deslizando pelo mar, o leão marinho não viu nada que pudesse ser tão especial. Ele queria voltar para casa o quanto antes.

Drifting through the sea the walrus saw nothing that could could be so special. He wanted to go home as soon as possible.

IF: Unfold

O tema da semana do Illustration Friday é bem abrangente."Unfold" significa, entre outras coisas: desdobrar, revelar(-se), mostrar(-se) aos poucos. Tornar(-se) algo ou alguém.

This week's theme on Illustration Friday is a wide one.
Anyway, my thoughts while painting were: something or someone that is going to become. A transformation inside something or somewhere. Something that is going to be and is slowing threading the path.
